Rainwater Purifier | Remineralising Ultra Filtration Water Filter

The Rainwater Purifier is our advanced drinking water system designed specifically for homes running on rainwater or tank water, including off-grid properties.

It uses a high-flow reverse osmosis (Ultra Filtration) membrane, paired with multi-stage carbon filtration and natural remineralisation, to deliver beautifully clean, mineral-rich water, while remaining compatible with rainwater pumps and variable water pressure.

Rainwater systems require a different approach to filtration. For this reason, this system uses Ultra Filtration (UF) — a high-flow form of reverse osmosis with a larger micron rating than standard RO membranes.

The filtration stages include:

• Sediment filtration
  Removes dirt, rust, sand and particulate matter commonly found in rainwater tanks.
  
• Pre-carbon filtration (100% coconut shell carbon)
  Reduces chemicals, pesticides, herbicides and organic contaminants.
  
• Ultra Filtration (High-Flow RO Membrane)
  A reverse osmosis membrane with a higher micron rating, designed to maintain strong flow when used with rainwater pumps. Effectively removes bacteria, parasites and microorganisms, while allowing consistent pressure.
  
• Post-carbon filtration
  Further polishes the water for clarity and taste.
  
• pH+ remineralisation cartridge
  Adds natural magnesium, calcium and trace minerals back into the water for balanced hydration and improved taste.

Our cartridges are designed for easy DIY replacement and you can change them yourself with our simple 4 minute instruction video.

The system has 5 filters in total. All filters except the UF Membrane need renewing once a year. These 4 filters are the ones that make up our Standard Service Kit.

The UF Membrane has a longer lifespan and is only replaced once every 2 years.

These time frames can vary depending on your water quality and usage, and if you live in a hard water area you may need to replace them sooner.

We also send you a reminder when your cartridges are due.
